Last night’s Game 3 between the Lightning and Isles was a defensive and goaltending battle again as Tampa took back home ice and a 2-1 series lead with a 2-1 win on Long Island. Tonight Vegas looks to do the same in Montreal in Game 3.
Game 3: Canadiens vs. Golden Knights (8:00)
In Game 2 in Vegas on Wednesday night, I lost on my biggest bet of the year on Vegas in regulation. After dominating Game 1, in Game 2 the Golden Knights got off to a very slow start and Montreal outplayed them early in the game with the Habs going up 2-0 in the first period. The Canadiens made it 3-0 before the Vegas comeback started. The Golden Knights came out firing late in the game, outshooting the Habs 18-17 in the third period and got close to tying the game up but Carey Price was phenomenal and Montreal got out of Vegas with a 3-2 win and a tied series. Tonight the series shifts across the border. Vegas was the better team in both games to start the series and I think they bounce back with a big win tonight. I’ll take the Knights ML for 2 units.
