Last night, by a miracle at the end of the game by Ryan Pulock with seconds to go saving the game, I won two units on the alternate under 5.5 in Isles/Tampa and for that series to go over 5.5 games. Tonight Vegas looks to tie up their series with the Canadiens.
Game 4: Canadiens vs. Golden Knights (8:00)
In Game 3 on Friday night, the Golden Knights outplayed Montreal the entire game and outshot the Habs 45-27. They lead the entire game until with just 1:55 left in the game when Marc Andre Fleury misplayed the puck and just gave away the tying goal away. Montreal then went on to take a 2-1 series lead in overtime. Vegas needs to tie up the series tonight and since they are the much better team in this series, I think they do. What’s interesting to me is that the Knights are starting Robin Lehner in goal tonight. I wouldn’t have made the change and think that Flower probably should still be starting. He’s been fantastic these entire playoffs and now isn’t starting after just one crucial error last game. Short leash on a Vezina candidate, if you ask me. Lehner’s still an incredible goaltender though and very capable to win, despite his one playoff loss this season. I think the Knights tie this series up with a big win tonight going back to Vegas for Game 5. I already have 2 units on the Knights to win the series in six games, which they need to win this game for, so I’ll lay off the moneyline tonight that’s the same price. If I didn’t have that series bet, I’d be on the moneyline tonight for a unit or two. I’d also lean the under.
