On yesterday’s slate I went 2-3 for -0.62. I can deal with that. Tonight we only have one game after four games were postponed and now all cross border travel for the NHL is suspended until at least after Christmas break. This season is becoming a complete wreck. Let’s win on this Stars/Wild game.
Stars vs. Wild (8:30)
The Minnesota Wild come into this game on a three game losing streak, their first since hiring Dean Evason in 2020. They’re still one of the best teams in the NHL, leading the Central Division with a 19-8-2 record. Their offense is electric, scoring the second most goals in the NHL this season, an average of 3.62 goals per game. Dallas comes off a 4-3 win against Chicago on Saturday night that ended their five game losing streak and they’re now 14-12-2. The Stars are only scoring an eighth fewest in the NHL 2.64 goals per game. Both of these teams are allowing an average of 2.86 goals per game and the first time they played on November 18th, Minnesota killed Dallas 7-2. The Wild are the better team here and the price is great on them tonight on the road. I’ll take Minnesota for a unit at an even pick and then since the Stars are technically the favorite here, I’ll take the Wild alternate puck line at -1.5 on an awesome price of +240 for half a unit. I’d also lean the over but not enough to bet it.
1u Wild ML (-110)
.5u Wild -1.5 (+240)
Record (Regular Season): 208-174-9 (-22.64 units)
