NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 11/12/23

After a hot start yesterday, I cooled down on the late games, finishing the NHL slate 6-6 to lose 2.15 units. Today we have a five game slate, let’s bounce back.

Panthers vs. Blackhawks (1:00)

This should be a fun game to get the day started. These teams played last week with the Blackhawks pulling off a 5-2 win at home on November 4th, which was a pretty big surprise for me. Florida’s playing well, on a three-game win streak, coming off a 5-2 win against the Canes on Friday night. I like Florida to get the win today at home and I’ll take them in regulation for a unit. I also like the over in this game, which I’ll take for a unit as well.

Wild vs. Stars (6:00)

This is a fun matchup. I don’t think the Wild are all that great of a team, while I think the Stars are fantastic. The price here with the Stars on the road and on the second half of a back to back makes sense, but I still like them to get the win. I’ll take Dallas for half a unit. I’d slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet it.

Canadiens vs. Canucks (7:00)

Both of these teams are in the second half of back-to-backs today. The Habs are on a two game win streak, beating both the Bruins and the Red Wings 3-2 in overtime, but surprises to me (and losses). The Canucks meanwhile had their five game win streak and nine game point streak come to an end with their 5-2 loss in Toronto last night. Glad I stayed off my lean of Vancouver in that game and just cashed in on the over. I like them to bounce back tonight in Montreal with a win and I’ll take them for a unit.

Rangers vs. Blue Jackets (7:00)

Huge mismatch between the Rangers and Blue Jackets here, who are on the opposite ends of the Metro Division. This should be an easy win for the Rags and I’ll take them in regulation at home for 1.5 units.

Ducks vs. Sharks (8:00)

After putting together back to back wins after their record-tying horrible start to the season, the Sharks went back to reality on Friday night, easily cashing my biggest bet of the year as they got shut out 5-0 by the Knights. This is the worst team in the NHL and arguably in history. The Ducks, after their hot run are now on a two game losing streak, coming off a 6-3 loss to the Flyers. I like the Ducks to bounce back pretty easily here. I’ll take the Ducks in regulation for a unit, their team total over 3.5 for half a unit, the -1.5 puck line for half a unit, and the alternate -2.5 puck line for half a unit.
