Crushed last night’s NHL slate, going 9-2, with one of those losses being Florida needing a shootout to beat Philly, winning 2.98 units. Let’s win again!!
Blackhawks vs. Wild (7:00)
Horrendous Central Division matchup here between one of the best teams in the division against one of the worst in the league. The Wild, who are coming off an easy 5-2 win in Anaheim on Friday night, have played fantastic hockey on both ends of the ice. They’ve won five of their last six games to improve to 10-2-2 on the year. The Blackhawks stink. They’re coming off a 3-1 loss in Dallas on Thursday. This should be an easy win for Minnesota and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
Devils vs. Sharks (7:00)
Pretty terrible mismatch here in this cross conference game and the price reflects that with Jersey all the way up to -360. The Devils have been very good this season. They’re on a three game win streak, in the second half of a back to back tonight, coming off a 4-3 overtime win on Long Island on Jack Hughes’ game winner. The Sharks have won four of their last six games, but this team still stinks. They’re coming off a 5-2 loss to Minnesota on Thursday night (easy winner for me). Even in the second half of a back to back, the Devils should dominate San Jose at home. I’ll take the Devils puck line for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Ducks vs. Blue Jackets (8:00)
This is a pretty terrible matchup between two terrible teams. The Ducks have been awful, coming into tonight’s game on a four game losing streak with only two wins in their last ten games, coming off a 5-2 blowout loss to the Wild on Friday night (easy win for me). The Blue Jackets exceeded my expectations with how they started their season, being a pain in the ass for team stop play against. They’ve since cooled off to expectations, on a four game losing streak after a 5-2 loss in LA last night. I’d slightly lean the Blue Jackets win on the road and the over here, but I’m not touching this game.
