Interesting Hometown Dates for Grant Tonight on The Bachelor

With Grant’s season of the Bachelor being a bit shorter than usual, we’re already onto hometowns with Grant and his final four women; Litia, Juliana, Zoe, and Dina.

Juliana’s first for the hometown dates in Newton, Massachusetts. They start their big Italian date day by making pizzas at her local pizzeria. They have fun and then they go to her parents’ house to meet her huge family. There’s like 30 people there, a typical big Italian family, and Grant’s a bit intimidated by it. Her parents like Grant and give their approval. Afterwards, Grant tells Juliana that he’s falling for her and she tells him that she’s falling in love with him.

Next up, Grant’s in New York City for Zoe’s hometown date. Zoe, who’s modeled before brings them to a wedding photoshoot together. Don’t love that date idea, especially on a hometown date. Following that, Grant gets to meet Zoe’s sister and her aunt and uncle. Her family likes Grant and all goes well. Just a boring date to watch. Grant says he feels the most vulnerable with her, and in her confessional after, Zoe says she just hopes that they didn’t find their connection too late, which it does seem like they are behind.

All the way out to Wyoming for Litia’s hometown date. This country date has to easily be the most nerve-racking for Grant, since she told him that she’s Mormon and that she’s never brought someone who wasn’t Mormon home to her family. That’s a lot to take in, but they do clearly have a pretty strong connection. They start their date, going horseback riding together. Grant meets her giant Morman family. It goes good for them, Grant gets a few questions answered that he needed to know, and after their date, Litia tells Grant that she’s falling in love with him and he says that he is too.

Last up is Dina’s hometown date in Chicago. Dina tells Grant that her parents won’t be there, since they clearly don’t approve of the whole Bachelor thing. Not a great sign for them, and they’re both clearly bummed out about it. They start their date at a pumpkin patch, doing all the fun carnival games and corn maze. Instead of meeting Dina’s family, Grant meets some of her friends. For both of them individually, it feels like the main topic of conversation is that her family isn’t there.

Before the rose ceremony, Grant meets up for beers with Joey to get some advice and Joey (best Bachelor ever) tells him to really follow his gut and his feelings.

Onto the rose ceremony. I feel like going into this it’s clearly a two horse race between Litia and Juliana, with Zoe and Dina both a step behind.

Litia gets the first rose. No surprise there whatsoever. Then Juliana, just as expected, leaving either Zoe or Dina going home.

With the final rose tonight…”Zoe, will you accept this rose?”

Can’t say I’m surprised with that after that hometown date.
