NCAAF Weekly Gambling Picks – Army vs. Navy 2025

Before bowl season kicks off this week, we have the annual classic Army vs. Navy game today, this year at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Although this game doesn’t always showcase fantastic football, it’s always a lot of fun to watch!

This one’s also one of my favorite college football blogs I write each year.

The Navy Midshipmen have been very good this season, with a 9-2 record and a 7-1 record in the American Conference. After losses to North Texas and Notre Dame on the road, they finished the season with two wins in a row, beating 24 ranked South Florida 41-38, then Memphis 28-17 on Thanksgiving. Navy’s offense has been solid this year, ranking 31st in the nation, scoring an average of 32.5 points per game. Their defense has struggled though, allowing an average of 26.9 points per game, ranking 82nd in the country.

The Army Black Knights haven’t had a great year, but they’re bowl eligible with a 6-5 record, going 4-4 in conference play. Their offense hasn’t scored much, averaging just 23 points per game, ranking 101st in the country. The Army defense has been decent though, averaging 22.5 points allowed per game, the 49th best in the nation.

Last season, Navy quarterback Blake Horvath had a fantastic day, throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 204 and two touchdowns for the Midshipmen to defeat Army 31-13. Prior to that, Army had won seven of the previous nine games after a run of Navy dominance, winning 14 straight games between them.

I like Navy to win again here and don’t think they’ll have a problem covering the touchdown. I’ll take the Midshipmen for a unit.

With both of these teams always having run first offenses, the Army vs. Navy game always trends under. Last year the over hit for just the second time in the last 19 matchups between these teams. While Army’s played plenty of low scoring games this season, Navy has been crushing overs this year, and I like the over to hit here for the second year in a row, and I’ll take it for half a unit.

Go Navy! Beat Army!

This game’s an American classic, always fun!

Bets

1u Navy -6.5 (-115)

.5u Navy/Army over 38.5 (-110)
