NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 10/4/26

I bounced back on the NHL last night, going 8-7 to win 1.18 units. Let’s keep churning along on tonight’s Sunday hockey slate!

Red Wings vs. Jets (1:00)

I wasn’t going to bet this game anyway since I expect both of these teams to be bad this year. My leans would’ve been the Jets and the over, but I wasn’t touching this one.

Rangers vs. Mammoth (6:00)

I expected the Rangers to be pretty bad this year, and I don’t really think the 2-1 start for them is great. Utah’s been great through their two wins and I like them to win tonight in the second half of a back to back in MSG. I’ll take the Mammoth for a unit at even money. I’d lean the over very slightly, but not enough to bet it.

Ducks vs. Panthers (8:00)

These are two solid teams and this should be a good game but especially with the Ducks in the second half of a back to back after a tough win in Vegas last night, I like Florida to win here on the road. I’ll take them for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.

Kraken vs. Flames (8:00)

I think both of these teams are pretty bad in the Pacific Division this year and this matchup is a snooze fest. Not touching it. I’d slightly lean the Kraken at home and the under, but not enough to bet either, especially with both teams in the second half of back to backs.

Canucks vs. Golden Knights (9:00)

Big mismatch here in the Pacific, especially with the Canucks in the second half of a back to back. The line reflects that with Vegas at -285, but I’ll take the Knights in regulation for 2 units. I also like the over, which I’ll take for half a unit.

Bets

1u Mammoth ML (+100)

.5u Panthers ML (-130)

2u Golden Knights in regulation (-160)

.5u Golden Knights/Canucks over 6.5 (+105)

Regular Season Record: 19-11 (+4.29 units)
