Slight winning night to bounce back yesterday, winning .28 units, a shootout goal short of going 2-0. Tonight we have a huge eleven NHL game slate, let’s crush it!

Maple Leafs vs. Sabres (7:00)
This should be a fun QEW rivalry game in the Atlantic Division. My Sabres have played better these last two games, but I’d lean the Leafs win this game. I don’t like it enough to bet against Buffalo in it though, especially since I hate the Leafs. I do like the over though, which I’ll take for a unit. Let’s Go Buffalo!
Senators vs. Islanders (7:00)
Not the most interesting Eastern Conference game to me. The Sens have played quite well, but this game’s kind of a toss up to me. I’d lean Ottawa wins at home and the over, but not enough to bet either. I’ll lay off this game entirely.
Lightning vs. Kraken (7:00)
In my eyes this is a pretty big mismatch for this cross conference game, but the Kraken offense is playing way better than I expected them to. I like the Lightning to win this one at home and I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. I’d lean the under at 6.5, but not enough to bet it.
Panthers vs. Canucks (7:00)
Huge cross conference mismatch despite the Panthers underperforming a bit to start their season. I like Florida to win, and I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. The total is a complete toss up to me.
Devils vs. Rangers (7:00)
Interesting first Battle of the Hudson here tonight. The Devils are absolutely the better team here, but they’ve played kind of lousy to start their season, while the Rangers have far over performed, especially without Igor Shesterkin anymore. I’d lean the Devils win it at home, but I’m not touching the side in this game. I’d lean the over, but not quite enough to bet it at 6.5 so I’ll lay off this game completely.
Red Wings vs. Flyers (7:30)
Horrible matchup between the two worst teams in the East to start the year. I’d slightly lean the Flyers get their first win of the season tonight on the road, but no shot I’m betting them. I’d lean the under, but not at 5.5, and I looked at the alternate line of 6.5, but that’s way too expensive at -165, so I’m not betting this lousy game.
Blackhawks vs. Jets (8:00)
Pretty boring Central Division game here. The Blackhawks have been awful and I see no way they improve much this season. I thought the Jets would be terrible too without Hellebuyck, but they’ve impressed me. I’ll take Winnipeg here on the road for half a unit. The total’s a coin flip to me.
Predators vs. Sharks (8:00)
This feels like a fun matchup, but neither of these teams have really been impressive at all to start the season. I’d lean the Sharks win here on the road, and the total is a toss up, so I’ll lay off this game.
Wild vs. Blues (8:00)
This is always a fun rivalry in the Central Division. Both of these teams have showed solid signs but have had some issues starting the year, setting up what should be a fun game. Minnesota’s the better team though, and I’ll take the Wild at home for half a unit. I would’ve thought the total on this game would be 6.5, so I like the over at 5.5, which I’ll take for half a unit as well.
Oilers vs. Mammoth (9:00)
I’m expecting a great game here in the West between these two very good playoff teams. I’d lean the Oilers win it at home to keep their undefeated in regulation streak to start the year, but not enough to bet them. I like the over though, which I’ll take for half a unit.
Golden Knights vs. Flames (10:00)
Horrible mismatch here in the Pacific to end the night. The Flames are horrendous and in my eyes they’re the worst team in the NHL. They’re coming off their first win of the season, surprisingly beating the Ducks on the road on Tuesday night, ruining my Frozen Frenzy with my biggest loss of the season. I love the Golden Knights to win this one at home in the Fortress and I’ll take them in regulation for a unit. I like the over too, which I’ll take for half a unit.
