Bruins vs. Golden Knights (7:00)
Awesome cross conference matchup between two very good teams to start the night. The Bruins bounced back from their two losses last week with an OT win at home on Halloween against the Blackhawks. The Golden Knights are struggling a bit lately with just one win in their last five games. I’d lean Boston wins here at home, but not enough to bet it. I do like the over though, which I’ll take for half a unit with both of these offenses being very good. I considered betting Eichel to get a point in his hometown, but I’ll just stick with the over in this one.
Panthers vs. Red Wings (7:00)
Lousy mismatch here in the Atlantic Division. The Panthers are playing solid hockey, coming in on a three game win streak. The Red Wings have picked up some wins lately, but this whole organization is in disarray. I like Florida to win here at home and I’ll take them for a unit. I like the over as well, especially at 5.5 which I’ll take for a unit also.
Blackhawks vs. Avalanche (8:00)
This is one of the biggest mismatches you could have in the Central Division. The Blackhawks are one of the worst teams in the NHL, while the Avs are one of the best. They’re finally on a nice little run here with three wins in their last four games after a slow start to the year. I love the Avs to win here on the road and I’ll take them in regulation for 1.5 units. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Sharks vs. Flames (9:00)
Kind of a boring matchup in the Pacific to end the night. Both of these teams have struggled on both ends of the ice. I think the Sharks are still the way more talented team here, and I’ll take a half unit shot on them to get right at home against a pretty weak Flames team. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it at 6.5.
