I went 2-2 on the small slate in the NHL last night, losing 0.72 units. Tonight we have a huge eleven game slate, let’s crush the board!

Canadiens vs. Mammoth (7:00)
This should be a very fun cross conference game between two solid teams. I’d lean the Habs bounce back after their collapse in the last three minutes against the Jets on Tuesday, but not enough to bet it. I do like the over though, which I’ll take for a unit.
Red Wings vs. Golden Knights (7:00)
This is a bit of a mismatch here to me and I just expect the Red Wings to get worse and worse. I like the Golden Knights to win on the road tonight and I’ll take them for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Lightning vs. Blackhawks (7:00)
Huge mismatch here. Tampa’s been very good, even with the Kucherov trade request. The Blackhawks are horrendous and in the second half of a back to back on the road, which should make this a very easy win for the Lightning. I’ll lay the puck line on them for a unit. I like the over too, which I’ll take for half a unit.
Devils vs. Blues (7:00)
This isn’t a great cross conference game. The Devils have been spectacular, far exceeding my expectations. The Blues are a complete middle of the road team. I like Jersey to win here at home and I’ll take them in regulation for a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it at 5.5.
Islanders vs. Hurricanes (7:00)
Pretty boring game here in the Metro. The Canes are the far better team here and I like them to win on the road. I’ll take the Hurricanes in regulation for a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
Rangers vs. Flyers (7:00)
Lousy Metro Division matchup here. Neither of these teams are good. I’d lean the Rangers win it at home, but not enough to bet them. I do like the over though at 5.5 and I’ll take it for half a unit.
Penguins vs. Bruins (7:00)
Big mismatch here in the Metro. The Bruins look like one of the best teams in the East, while the Penguins have struggled all season. I’m pretty shocked by the price on this one, as I expected Boston to at least be a -150 favorite on the road, but I’ll walk into the possible trap here and take the Bruins for a unit as a slight dog. I’d slightly lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Blue Jackets vs. Stars (7:00)
This game isn’t great. The Stars are a very good team, but they’ve been a bit inconsistent. The Blue Jackets have played decent lately, with three wins in their last five games, coming off a huge 7-2 win at home against the Avalanche on Tuesday. Dallas won the first game between these teams 3-1 at home on Halloween, and I like them to win again here on the road. I’ll take the Stars for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Jets vs. Canucks (7:00)
Terrible game here out West. Both of these teams are terrible. I’d lean the Jets win it at home but don’t trust them enough to bet on them. The total is a complete toss up at 6.5, so I’ll lay off this game entirely.
Oilers vs. Ducks (8:00)
I wouldn’t say this is a great game in the Pacific, but it could be a fun one. The Oilers are the way better team here and I like them to bounce back from their shootout loss in Jersey on Tuesday. I’ll lay the heavy -192 for a unit. I also like the over, and I’ll take it for half a unit at the pricey -148.
Avalanche vs. Predators (9:30)
At first glance, I thought this would be a pretty lousy game, but it’s actually quite interesting. The Avs have been underperforming this year, as evidenced by their 7-2 loss in Columbus on Tuesday. I don’t think the Preds are all that great, but they’re coming off two huge wins, beating the Hurricanes and Lightning. I’d still expect Colorado to win here at home, but the -218 is way too expensive. I do like the over though, which I’ll take for half a unit.
