Tonight the Sabres were outworked by the worst team in the NHL, losing 6-2 at home to the San Jose Sharks. A new low point this season for this fucking pathetic franchise. I thought the Sabres were lucky to get out of the first period with the game tied at 0. The Sharks looked like the far better team, having a ton of great chances, … Continue reading Sabres vs. Sharks: 3/4/25 – Game Reactions/Recap
The end of last night’s NHL slate fell apart a bit, so I ended up going 3-4 to lose 1.34 units. Not the best. Tonight we have a big ten game slate. Let’s bounce back here. Sabres vs. Sharks (7:00) Brutal matchup to start the night between the worst team in the East against the worst team in the league, both in the second half … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/4/25
I’m having Boiler out of Nebraska again on today’s Brew Review with Double Barrel Coconut Killa AF. This 14.2% Russian imperial stout was aged 3 years, first in a Old Elk Bourbon Barrel, then transferred into a Willett Family Estate Bourbon Barrel and conditioned on a TON of toasted and raw coconut. Continue reading Brew Review – Boiler Brewing Co. Double Barrel Coconut Killa AF
Tonight the Sabres lost again to the Habs, as Montreal completed their season sweep against Buffalo with a 4-3 overtime win after the Sabres erased an early 3-0 deficit, losing it typical Sabres fashion. The Habs got on the board first, on the power play, 9:42 into the game, with Nick Suzuki setting up Cole Caufield for a nice rip for the first of the … Continue reading Sabres @ Canadiens: 3/3/25 – Game Reactions/Recap
Nearly perfect Sunday for me on the NHL, going 4-1 to win 2.38 units, with the Canes needing OT instead of covering the puck line. Tonight we have a six game slate, let’s make it three winning days in a row! Capitals vs. Senators (6:30) Decent game with a bit of an earlier start to get tonight’s slate going. The Capitals have been fantastic this … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/3/25
I’m a pretty big Harry Potter fan, so I was pumped to try Corporate Ladder’s take on Butter Beer on this version of their Dessert Station series on today’s Brew Review. This 6.5% sour was conditioned on cream soda, butterscotch, and vanilla soft serve. Continue reading Brew Review – Corporate Ladder Brewing Company Dessert Station Butter Beer
I’m having Boiler Brewing, out of Lincoln, Nebraska for the first time on today’s Brew Review with their Toasted Marshmallow Brownie Batter. This 14% double mashed extended boil Russian imperial stout was aged nearly 2 years in a single hand-selected 9-Year Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrel and conditioned on heavy-handed doses of Toasted Marshmallows, Toasted Walnuts, Madagascan Vanilla Beans, as well as a triple dose of Cacao Nibs. Winning day on yesterday’s big NHL slate, going 6-4 to win .9 units. I’ll take it. Today we have a pretty good six game Sunday slate, let’s win again! Penguins vs. Maple Leafs (1:00) Lousy Eastern Conference matchup to start off the day. The Penguins are horrible, in last place in the Metro and only better than the Sabres in the East. They’re in the … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/2/25
The Sabres were competitive tonight, playing a fun game at home against Montreal, but didn’t have enough as the Habs win their sixth straight in Buffalo, 4-2. Pretty evenly played first period, as I thought the Sabres were the slightly better team through 20 minutes at home. With a scoreless game through 20 minutes, I thought we played pretty good hockey, pushing the offense more, … Continue reading Sabres vs. Canadiens: 3/1/25 – Game Reactions/Recap
I broke even last night on the NHL going 2-2. Today we have a big 13 game slate, including taking it outdoors to Ohio Stadium for the Stadium Series. Let’s cash in! Islanders vs. Predators (12:30) Terrible cross conference matchup to start the day. Both of these teams blow. The Islanders are only better than the Penguins in the Metro Division. After they went on … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/1/25
