I had a pretty good night yesterday, winning about a unit on 6-2 night. Both of my losses came on the Ottawa game, which I’m fine with because although lost, it was the right pick and Montreal ruined the puck line bet with only 21 seconds left on the empty net. Oh well, I’d make that bet again and still made money yesterday. Tonight there’s a six game NHL slate that hopefully we can turn into the second profitable night in a row.
Bruins vs. Capitals (7:00)
Both these teams are fighting for first place in the East Division and having very good seasons. They split the two games they met in this season with the B’s winning the first matchup 4-3 and then the Caps answering back with a 5-3 win. I think this game goes either way and won’t be betting it. I’d also lean the under but not enough to bet it since both teams have the ability to score and both games between them this season have gone over.
Oilers vs. Maple Leafs (8:00)
I thought the last two games between the two best teams in Canada would be a lot better than they were as the Leafs got back to back shutouts from their backup goalies in 4-0 and 3-0 wins against the Oilers. I’d be shocked if McDavid and Draisaitl go another game of their team getting shit on by Toronto tonight so I’m not betting this one. If I was though, I’d take the Leafs.
Ducks vs. Blues (9:30)
The Blues are coming off back to back one goal wins against the Ducks and Sharks in high scoring games after losing three straight. The Blues should win tonight but its been tough to trust this team to win the hockey games that they should be.
Golden Knights vs. Wild (10:00)
The game between these teams on Monday night was so much fun to watch as the Knights came back from a 4-2 deficit in the third period to go on to win in overtime 5-4 on Mark Stone’s five primary assist night to ruin the Wild winning streak. Guy’s such a fucking animal on the ice. I’m back on Vegas tonight with fans in the fortress for half a unit.
Kings vs. Coyotes (10:00)
Arizona’s the better team in this matchup and are coming off back to back losses to Colorado. Although they lost back to back games to the Wild after winning six straight, Cal Peterson and the Kings have been surprisingly playing good hockey. With Anti Raanta, who has a 3.99 GAA and 89.5% save % confirmed in goal for the Yotes, I’m skipping this game, but they should bounce back with a win on the road.
Sharks vs. Avalanche (10:30)
After getting out to a 2-0 lead on Monday night, the Avs went on to blow that lead and then give up six unanswered and four third period goals to the much worse SJ Sharks to lose 6-2 as a huge favorite. I don’t see that happening again tonight and for as inconsistent they’ve been this season, Colorado is a good team. I’m taking them in regulation again for the bounce back at -145. The moneyline on this game’s fucking ridiculous.
Picks
