Had a big swing on the Leafs losing yesterday, but still a pretty good night for the third profitable day in a row on a pretty big slate last night. Tonight’s slate is small with only six games. Let’s make it four winning days in a row!
Bruins vs. Capitals (7:00)
On Wednesday night, the Caps took the lead in the season series between these two teams fighting to be at the top of the East, winning 2-1 following a 4-3 loss and 5-3 win earlier in the season. I’d lean the Bruins in this tilt tonight to bounce back but wouldn’t bet on it as it should be a close game.
Blackhawks vs. Lightning (8:00)
Last night the Hawks got out to a 2-0 lead going into the third period at home against Tampa. In the first 3 minutes of the third period, the ice tilted in the Bolts favor quickly as they tied it up. The game looked to be going to shootout until Victor Hedman put the puck past Lankinen as time expired in overtime to win it. Tonight with both backups likely starting, I think McElhinney holds Tampa in the game and the Lightning should have no issues lighting the lamp against Subban (who’s already confirmed for Chicago). Tampa gets their fourth win of the season against the Blackhawks tonight and I’m on the ML and puck line for a half unit each.
Avalanche vs. Ducks (9:00)
After they got shit on by the Sharks on Monday night, Colorado answered back with an easy 4-0 win. Tonight they face off against the Ducks, who currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. In two games this season, the Avs won the first 3-2 before being upset by the Anaheim 3-1. Tonight I think Colorado wins this one. They’ve been too shaky of a team for me to want to lay the expensive moneyline at -250, so I’m cutting some juice off this one with Colorado in regulation for half a unit at home.
Coyotes vs. Wild (9:00)
Both of these teams are in the middle of the road out West. This is the first meeting between these teams this season and should be a close game. Minnesota’s been real hot lately besides their last two losses to Vegas so I could see them bouncing back on the road tonight. Not betting this game.
Kings vs. Blues (9:00)
After a six game winning streak, the Kings have lost their last three since then going back down to expectations. The Blues have been inconsistent this year and before their current three game win streak, they lost three straight including two against this Kings team. LA is 3-1 this season against the Blues. I’d lean LA +1.5 here in a likely Blues win, but I’m not betting this one.
Sharks vs. Golden Knights (10:30)
Vegas is a WAGON and continue to be my Stanley Cup pick. The Sharks suck and Vegas should take care of business tonight on the road. This season these teams have only played once so far due to a bunch of COVID cancellations for both teams and the Knights won 3-1 in that game. I’m on the moneyline for a unit, and the puck line for half a unit tonight.

.5u Tampa -1.5 (+130)
.5u Colorado in regulation (-155)
