Last night the Bruins blew my regulation bet with like 5 minutes left in and took till a shootout to beat the Sabres, so I went 4-3 for -2.58 units. Today we get a 2:00 Wednesday afternoon game to start off tonight’s six game NHL slate.

Wild vs. Coyotes (2:00)

It’s nice that we get a rare 2:00 afternoon game on a Wednesday. Minnesota’s a way better team than Arizona this season and they are 4-1 against the Yotes and all four of the Wild wins have come by at least three goals. I think the Wild win this one in a bounce back of their back to back losses to the Blues. I’ll take Minnesota ML for a unit, regulation line for a unit, puck line for half a unit and team total over 3.5 for half a unit. 

Canadiens vs. Flames (7:00)

The Calgary Flames are coming into this game on the back end of playing two nights in a row after a nice OT win over Toronto last night. I think Montreal’s the better team in this matchup but Calgary is 3-1 against them this year. I’d lean the Habs win but I’m not betting this game. I’d also lean the under here.

Senators vs. Jets (7:00)

The Jets are the way better team here and they’re 5-2 against Ottawa this season. But the Sens are a feisty team that stays in games and with  Brossoit confirmed in goal for the Jets tonight, I could see this being a let down spot. I’ll skip this game. I’d lean the Jets and the over. 

Blues vs. Avalanche (7:30)

The Blues are seemingly back and have won three straight against Vegas and Minnesota. I think Colorado’s the best team in hockey and ruins that streak on the road in St. Louis tonight in a preview of what could be a first round playoff matchup. Colorado’s 3-1 this season against the Blues. If Grubauer starts, I’ll take the Avs ML for a unit. UPDATE: GRUBAUER OUT SO I’M OFF THIS GAME

Kings vs. Golden Knights (10:00)

This is the most lopsided matchup on the board tonight. Vegas is a wagon and LA sucks. On Monday night, LA got out to a 2-0 lead before Vegas scored 4 straight to win 4-2, covering every bet on them. The Knights are 5-2 against the Kings this season and I think they win this last game in the season series as well. I’ll take Vegas for a unit each on the ML and regulation line as well as the puck line (which is 4-1 in those 5 Vegas wins this season) for half a unit. Vegas also crushes third periods of games and come alive late in games and are 5-1-1 in the 3P against the Kings this year. I’ll take half a unit each on the Vegas 3P ML and 3P -.5.

Sharks vs. Ducks (10:30)

Typically I never bet shitty teams but for some reason I’ve been riding the Sharks against the Ducks and Kings the last few games and get let down every time. SJ is now 4-3 this season against Anaheim. I’d lean the Sharks win this one but I’m sick of losing betting them so I’m just skipping this game entirely.
