Really solid night yesterday, going an undefeated 6-0 on my game bets for a 9 unit win and splitting my series bets with Florida winning in overtime and the Flames losing to go 1-1 and lose 2.22 units on those. Huge winning night. Today we have three Game 7s, the best two words in sports. Anything can happen in Game 7s. Let’s keep the wins rolling!!

Game 7: Hurricanes vs. Bruins (4:30)

It’s sort of shocking that this series has gone seven games with none of them being competitive games and the home team winning them all in blowouts. The Bruins forced Game 7 with a big 5-2 win Thursday night. I don’t have a whole lot of confidence in my series bet and future on the Bruins and I’ll continue to hedge the same way I have all series, with 1.5 units on the Hurricanes TT over 2.5. I’ll also take the over for 2 units.

Game 7: Maple Leafs vs. Lightning (7:00)

In a great Game 6 in Tampa, Nikita Kucherov tied up the game in the third period with a great goal to cash my over before Brayden Point sent this series to Game 7 with the overtime game winner (and I correctly picked him to score it). I like the back to back Cup Champs to win 7 and end the Leafs season in the first round again. The Leafs choke every year and with the way they’re structure with a great offense, lousy defense and inconsistent goaltending, I see that happening again this year. I have three units of series bets on the Bolts and I’ll partially hedge it with the Leafs TT over 3 for 1.5 units. I’ll also take the over 6 in this game for 2 units which has hit in every game this series besides Game 1. 

Game 7: Oilers vs. Kings (10:00)

Going into this series, I expected the Oilers to cruise through the LA Kings and then likely get bounced in the second round. I had Edmonton to win this series in six games or less, which lost in their 4-3 overtime loss in Game 5. In Game 6, the Oilers scored twice in the last 5:10 of the third period to win 4-2 and force Game 7. This series has been a ton of fun to watch and now with no series action, I’m hoping the Kings win. I do think the Oilers are the better team here and having the likes of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl is a huge asset for Edmonton if they can take this game over. In no way are they worth betting on at -210 though and with how well the Kings have matched up with them, I actually really like the value in LA to win this game and advance. I’ll take a small shot on the Kings ML for half a unit. I really like the over in this game, which has been 5-1 in this series and will take the over 6 for 2.5 units.
