I bounced back from getting swept on Tuesday going an undefeated 3-0 last night to win 4 units with a boring Rangers/Canes game and amazing Battle of Alberta. Tonight we have the Game 2s of Tuesday’s series. Let’s win on these! 

Game 2: Panthers vs. Lightning (7:00)

The back to back Cup champion Bolts opened up the second round on Tuesday night with 4-1 win on the road, scoring three goals in the third period. I expected this to be a competitive series and although its technically not a must win, I feel like the Panthers have to win this game to keep their season alive. If they lose again tonight and it’s a 2-0 series going back to Tampa for Game 3, Florida’s fucked and its going to be a quick probably five game series for the Lightning to go to their third straight Eastern Conference Finals. I’ll go with 1.5 units on the Panthers tonight. I’ll also take the over for a unit.

Game 2: Avalanche vs. Blues (9:30)

The Colorado Avalanche completely dominated Game 1 on Tuesday night, outshooting the Blues 54-25 but Jordan Binnington played incredibly in goal for St. Louis to keep them in the game. The Blues tied the game up with 3:14 remaining in regulation with a Jordan Kyrou power play goal to force overtime but Josh Manson ended it for a 3-2 win for the Avs. I lost pretty much every bet I had on Game 1 by a goal, but I’m going right back to it tonight. I’ll go with two units on the Avs in regulation, a unit on the Avs TT over 3.5 and a unit on the over.
