I got crushed on both games yesterday, going 0-5 to lose 9.47 units. Last time I did that, I bounced back with sweeping the board. Let’s do that again tonight as I hammer these two games that I crushed in Game 1 responsibly!

Game 2: Hurricanes vs. Rangers (8:00)

Game 1 of this series was so boring on Wednesday night. Igor Shesterkin played a great game in goal but with just 2:23 remaining in regulation, Sebastian Aho tied the game up 1-1 before Ian Cole scored the game winner for the Canes 3:12 into overtime. I think the Hurricanes are the much better team in this series, especially at home. I’ll take the Canes for two units. I’ll also jump on the under in this game for 1.5 units with these two teams who lead the league in goals against during the regular season. 

Game 2: Flames vs. Oilers (10:30)

In easily the best game of the playoffs so far on Wednesday night to kick off the Battle of Alberta, both teams scored at will. The Flames got out to an early lead and had 5-1 and 6-2 leads in this game but the Oilers came back and made it 6-6 to tie up the game early in the third period. Matthew Tkachuk scored an empty net goal with 2:11 remaining in the third period for his first playoff hat trick to close out 9-6 win for the Flames. Calgary’s the better, more well rounded team in this series with more depth and an advantage in every facet of the game. I’ll take the Flames ML, Flames TT over 3.5 and the over for 2 units each and the Oilers TT over 2.5 for half a unit.

Along with my individual game bets tonight, I’ll parlay the Hurricanes ML, Hurricanes/Rangers under 6, Flames ML and Flames/Oilers over 6 for a unit.
