Last night I had pretty much the biggest swing of the playoffs on the Flames loss in Game 2 of the Battle of Alberta as I went 4-3 to lose 0.9 units. Tonight we only have one game with the Central Division series shifting to St. Louis.
Game 3: Blues vs. Avalanche (8:00)
The Blues got a win on the road in Game 2 on Thursday, beating the Avalanche 4-1 to tie up the series 1-1 going back to St. Louis tonight. The Avalanche dominated Game 1 but Jordan Binnington kept the Blues in the game to force overtime in what was eventually a 3-2 win for Colorado. This is a tough series for me to gauge. The Avalanche are clearly the best team in the playoffs but the Blues could be their toughest competition on their way to the Cup Finals. This is a tough game for me to bet. The Avs are the better team in this matchup but I don’t think they’re worth betting on at -175 on the road. I’d slightly lean the under but with two good offenses for both teams, that’s a tough bet to make. I’ll take the Blues TT over 2.5 for a unit. They should be able to feed off their home crowd and score and should score three goals to cover that even in a loss.
