Profitable day yesterday, going 6-2 to win 1.11 units. I lost my big series bet on the Battle of Florida to go six or seven games but made up for it going 6-1 (the loss on two overturned goals) on my individual game bets as the Lightning swept the Panthers and the Avs went up 3-1 on the Blues. Tonight we have two more Game 4s. Let’s win!

Game 4: Rangers vs. Hurricanes (7:00)

On Sunday afternoon the Rangers kept themselves in this series with a 3-1 home win in Game 3. Igor Shesterkin was spectacular with a 43 save performance to keep the Rags in the series. All three games in this series have been very low scoring, close games and I expect that trend to continue. I will take the under in this game for 4 units. Along with that, I think Carolina’s the better team in this series and should get a win on the road tonight to put the Rangers on the brink of elimination going back to Carolina for Game 5. I’ll take the Hurricanes ML for a unit.

Game 4: Oilers vs. Flames (9:30)

Connor McDavid, who’s putting up the best stats in this year’s playoffs than we’ve seen since Wayne Gretzky and his Oilers dominated Game 3 at home against the Flames winning 4-1 to take a 2-1 series lead in the Battle of Alberta. Evander Kane put up a hat trick in that win and is proving to be very valuable to Edmonton since they traded for him. I still think the Flames are the better and more complete team in this series but Vezina candidate Jacob Markstrom has sucked for them this series, posting a sub .900 save percentage. I like the Flames to even up this series tonight on the road heading back to Calgary for Game 5 on Thursday, and cash my series bet on this to go at least six games. I’ll take the Flames ML for a unit. Games 1 and 2 flew over and the Flames came up short only scoring a goal in Game 3 to keep it under. I’ll go back to the over 6 here for 2.5 units. I considered taking both team totals again like I did on Sunday in Game 3, but I’ll stay off it tonight.
