Last night I gave back my winnings from Tuesday night, going 0-2 in the Rangers 6-2 win against the Lightning in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals to lose 3.28 units. Tonight let’s bounce back with Game 2 in the West.
Game 2: Avalanche vs. Oilers (8:00)
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals in Colorado was incredible, as the Avalanche took a 1-0 series lead at home in a very high scoring 8-6 victory. The Avs got out to a pretty early 7-3 lead and then coasted the rest of the way, pretty much turning the game into a sweat with both backup goalies in after Darcy Kuemper got injured and Mike Smith got pulled. Kuemper’s still injured and will be out for tonight’s game but that doesn’t really change how I’m betting this game at all. I’d expect the Avs to win another high scoring game. Its insane that the over on this game is all the way up to 7.5, the highest total of the NHL season, but it does make sense. I’ll buy this down to the alternate line of 7 (can’t believe thats an alt line) for 2 units. Along with that, I’ll go with 2 units on the Avs TT over 3.5 and a unit each on the Avs ML and Oilers TT over 3. Loading up on the totals!
