NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/5/22

Last night the Avalanche took a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals with their 4-2 win in Edmonton to put the Oilers on the brink of getting swept. I got too cute and ended up going 2-2 to lose 0.87 units. Not the worst loss but would’ve been nicer to win. Today the Eastern Conference Finals goes to Tampa for Game 3.

Game 3: Lightning vs. Rangers (3:00)

Tampa Bay’s streak of 18 consecutive wins after a loss came to an end as the Bolts fell 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals with their 3-2 loss to the Rangers in Game 2. The Rangers dominated the whole game and then held off a late comeback attempt at the end of the game to get the win. I’m really impressed by how well the Rags have played through those two games and I’m thinking they could definitely pull off winning this series and going onto the Cup Finals. A series isn’t a problem till you lose at home though, so we’ll see how the Bolts come out today in the only day game of this round. I can’t see the Lightning losing three in a row, especially at home today and I think they make this a series with a win today. I’ll take the Lightning for two units. I’ll also take the under for a unit.
