NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/11/22

The Lightning got their third win in a row in the Eastern Conference Finals, going up 3-2 in the series to put the Rangers on the brink of elimination tonight. I got a double winner on Game 5 to win 2 units as the Lightning won 3-1, scoring the game winner with under two minutes left in the game on Mikhail Sergachev’s goal with 1:50 remaining in regulation. Let’s close this series out tonight.

Game 6: Lightning vs. Rangers (8:00)

After getting the wheels blown off in Game 1 after nine days of rest going into this series, the Lightning made their adjustments and although they lost Game 2, they played much better hockey. They really turned this series around though when it went to Tampa for Game 3 and 4 and have dominated since, winning the last three games to now put the Rags on the brink of elimination. The Rangers have been horrendous 5 on 5, scoring only one goal at even strength in the last three games and have gotten dominated on both ends of the ice with Igor Shesterkin being the only thing preventing these games from being complete and total blowouts. I expect Tampa to keep rolling at home tonight and get another win to go to their third straight Stanley Cup Finals and face the Avalanche who are waiting for them. I was a bit scared with my series bets after Game 1 and 2 with how well the Rangers played but they really turned it around and along with letting my series bets, which will win me 4 units if the Bolts win this series, I’ll double down on the Lightning tonight, laying the juice with 2 units on the ML. I’ll also take a half unit each on the Lightning TT over 2.5 and the puck line. I’ve been riding the unders on this series all series long, but with this being an elimination game and the line moving down to 5, I don’t love it, so I’ll just stay off the total but I’d lean the under again. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been pretty much perfect in elimination games giving up only one total goal in this last seven closing games of a series with an impressive six shutouts. I’ll take a shot on the Lightning to win in a shutout for 0.4 units.
