Nice night for me on the playoffs yesterday, going 2-1 to win 1.4 units. Let’s make it three winning nights in a row on tonight’s three Game 3s in the NHL.
Game 3: Canadiens vs. Lightning (7:00)
The first two games of this series were great, both going to overtime as these teams split the games in Tampa to take a tied series up to Montreal, with the Habs winning Game 1 4-3 on the road and the Lightning answering with a 3-2 win at home in Game 2. I fully expect this series to go at least six, if not seven games. I’d slightly lean the Canadiens win here at home, but not enough to bet it. I like the over at 5.5, which I’ll take for half a unit. I’ll also parlay Nikita Kucherov, Jake Guentzel, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky to each get a point for half a unit.
Game 3: Mammoth vs. Golden Knights (9:30)
This has been a solid series, tied through the first two games, with the Mammoth bouncing back in Game 2 on the road to knot up the series with a late goal by Logan Cooley to win it 3-2 after Vegas won Game 1 at home 4-2. I like the Knights to bounce back here on the road and take home ice back and I’ll take them for half a unit. I’d lean the under here, but not enough to bet it. I’ll also parlay Jack Eichel, Mitch Marner, and Mark Stone to each get a point for half a unit.
Game 3: Ducks vs. Oilers (10:00)
Both games of this series have been a lot of fun, with a ton of goals getting scored in them. It’s now tied, with the Ducks answering back from Edmonton’s 4-3 win in Game 1 with a 6-4 win on the road in Game 2, on a late goal from Cutter Gauthier on his second of the game, with Ryan Poehling capping it off with an empty netter. I like the Oilers to take back home ice with a win on the road here and I’ll take them for a unit. I love the over again as well, which I’ll take for 1.5 units. I love a bunch of player props here too. I’ll take Leon Draisaitl to get over 1.5 points for a unit, and on the Ducks side, I’ll individually take Leo Carlsson, Cutter Gauthier, and Troy Terry to each get a point for half a unit each. I thought about parlaying all three of those guys together, but at just +176 I don’t think its worth it. Just gotta hit two of them to make a profit.
