Slight losing night of hockey for me yesterday, going 4-5 to lose 0.22 units. Tonight we have just three NHL games, which should all be very good. Let’s win!

Capitals vs. Penguins (7:30)

This storied Metro Division rivalry has an extra special feel to it this year, with Alex Ovechkin announcing his retirement at this end of this season. Although the Penguins should be decent this year, I think the Capitals are the significantly deeper team here and I like them to win this one at home. I like the over as well, which I’ll also take for half a unit. Additionally, I’ll take Ovi to get a point at home for half a unit too.

Jets vs. Avalanche (7:30)

Huge mismatch in the Central Division. The Jets have looked pretty good in their 2-0-1 start, but they’re not even close to the level of Colorado. I’m shocked that the price tonight is less than -200, and I’ll take them for 1.5 units on the road. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.

Ducks vs. Oilers (10:00)

This should be a really fun late night game in the Pacific. I’d slightly lean the Oilers win here on the road, but not enough to bet it. Both of these teams can score a ton and they’re both shaky on the back end, so I love the over and I’ll take it for a unit.
