The Avs killed my night on the NHL yesterday, as I went 3-2 but lost 1.5 units. Tonight we have a huge ten game slate, let’s crush it!

Sabres vs. Stars (7:00)
This isn’t a great cross conference matchup to get the night started. My Sabres haven’t looked great through their first three games, but we’re 2-1, coming off a great third period for the come from behind 3-2 overtime win on Thursday against the Wild. After their horrible start, the Stars got their first win on Monday in impressive fashion, beating the Sharks 5-0 at home. I like Dallas to win here on the road and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
Senators vs. Flyers (7:00)
Interesting Eastern Conference matchup. The Sens have been decent in their start, but I still don’t think they’re a great team, while the Flyers have looked awful with decent expectations after making it to the second round of the playoffs last year. I’d lean Philly gets their first win at home tonight, but not enough to even really consider betting on them. The total’s a complete toss up to me, so I’ll lay off this game entirely.
Bruins vs. Mammoth (7:00)
Solid cross conference matchup between two up and coming teams. They’ve both looked pretty solid in their starts. I’d lean the Mammoth get the win here on the road, but not enough to bet them. I’d also lean the over, but not enough to bet that either. Should be a fun game, but I’m not touching this one.
Canadiens vs. Predators (7:00)
Kind of a boring matchup for this one. Although Montreal’s just 1-1-1, they’re the way better team here. I’ll take them for a unit at home. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Lightning vs. Wild (7:00)
Great cross conference game that should be a fantastic matchup to watch. I’d slightly lean the Wild win here on the road to bounce back from their loss to my Sabres on Tuesday but not enough to bet it. The total’s a toss up, but I’ll lay off this game. Definitely will be on my second TV.
Hurricanes vs. Canucks (7:00)
Huge mismatch for this cross conference game. This should be an easy win for Carolina at home and I’ll take them on the puck line for a unit. I’d lean the over, since the Canes could likely score enough to hit it themselves, but it’s not worth betting.
Islanders vs. Blackhawks (7:30)
Such a snooze fest of a cross conference game. I don’t think this will be a great game at all, and I likely won’t be turning into it at all. That said, I like the Isles to win at home and I’ll take them for half a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
Blues vs. Sharks (8:00)
This game should be decent. I like the Sharks to win on the road and bounce back from their 5-0 shutout loss in Dallas on Monday, and I’ll take them as a dog for half a unit. I’ll also take the over for half a unit, which I like especially at -130.
Flames vs. Avalanche (9:00)
Huge mismatch in the West after last night’s huge disappointment for the Avs, losing to the Jets. Even in the second half of a back to back, I love Colorado in this one. I’ll take them in regulation for 1.5 units. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Golden Knights vs. Maple Leafs (10:00)
I guess this is a decent cross conference game, even though I’m not sold on Toronto. I like Vegas to win tonight at home in the fortress and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it at 6.5.
