Great night on yesterday’s big NHL slate as I went 6-2 to win 3.3 units. Let’s roll into the weekend on tonight’s four game slate.

Red Wings vs. Kraken (7:00)

What a boring game this matchup is. I think both of these teams are gonna suck this year. I’d slightly lean Detroit wins this game at home, even though the Kraken are the slightly better team. The total’s a complete toss up. I’ll lay off this game.

Capitals vs. Rangers (7:00)

Pretty big mismatch here in the Metro, even though the Rangers haven’t looked awful to start the year. I like the Caps to win this one and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d slightly lean the under, but I’m not touching it.

Blue Jackets vs. Penguins (7:00)

This game isn’t great. I don’t think the Blue Jackets are gonna be good, while the Pens are a frisky team. I like Pittsburgh to win this game on the road and I’ll take them for half a unit. I like the over in this game too, which I’ll take for half a unit.

Jets vs. Ducks (8:00)

Going into the season, I didn’t think Winnipeg would be a good team without Connor Hellebuyck, but they’ve looked solid. The Ducks have looked alright, pretty much as expected. I like Anaheim to win this one on the road and I’ll take them for a unit at a nice price as an even money dog. I’d lean the over, but not quite enough to bet it.
