NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 11/3/26

Slight losing night in the NHL for me yesterday, going 2-3 to drop 0.52 units. Let’s bounce back and crush tonight’s big eleven game slate!

Maple Leafs vs. Mammoth (7:00)

Really fun cross conference game here with both of these teams being really solid offensively, but not great on the back end. Last month the first game was a blast with the Mammoth winning 5-4 at home. I’d lean they’re the better team here and win again on the road, but not enough to bet it. I do really like the over again though, which I’ll take for a unit.

Canadiens vs. Jets (7:00)

This cross conference game up North isn’t great. The Habs have played very well on both ends of the ice while the Jets have been awful. Montreal won the first game on the road between these teams in a 2-1 grind. I expect them to win easier tonight at home to complete the season sweep and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d lean the under slightly, but not enough to bet it.

Lightning vs. Red Wings (7:00)

Although these Atlantic Division teams are separated by just a point, and both teams are in the opposite trajectories than they should be, the Lightning are the far better team here. I like the Bolts to get right at home here tonight, where they’re perfect and I’ll take them in regulation for a unit. I like the over too, which I’ll take for half a unit.

Rangers vs. Blues (7:00)

Pretty boring matchup here. Neither of these teams are great. I do like the Blues to win here on the road and I’ll take them for half a unit at even money, and I like the over at 5.5, which I’ll also take for half a unit.

Flyers vs. Wild (7:00)

Awful mismatch for this cross conference game. The Flyers have been one of the worst teams in the league this year, while the Wild look phenomenal. I know they’re on the road, but I’m shocked that Minnesota is less than -200 here. I’ll take them for 1.5 units. I’d lean the over slightly at 5.5, but not enough to bet it.

Penguins vs. Golden Knights (7:00)

Not the best cross conference matchup. Both of these teams are in pretty bad slumps lately. I like Vegas to get right here and I’ll take a shot on them for half a unit as the way more talented, better team as a slight dog on the road. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.

Capitals vs. Stars (7:00)

Fantastic cross conference matchup here. Both of these teams have looked great on both ends of the ice through the first month of the season and they’re both absolutely contenders this year. I’d give a slight edge to the Caps here at home, but not enough to bet this game, which is pretty much a coin flip to me. I do like the over though at 5.5, and I’ll take it for half a unit.

Blue Jackets vs. Avalanche (7:00)

Horrible mismatch for this cross conference game. The Avs are the far better team and should win this one pretty easily on the road. I’m a bit surprised on the price and I’ll take them for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it at 6.5.

Devils vs. Oilers (7:30)

Awesome cross conference matchup here between these two teams that have been incredible to watch lately. I’d slightly lean the Oilers win here on the road, but not enough to bet on it. I’d also lean the over, but not enough to bet that either, so I’ll just watch this game and enjoy the pucks in what’s easily one of the two best games on tonight’s slate.

Predators vs. Hurricanes (8:00)

Pretty huge mismatch in this cross conference game. The Preds aren’t great, but they’ve been playing competitive hockey, losing a lot of close games. The Canes though look like the best team in the league defending their Cup. I like Carolina to win here on the road. The moneyline is a bit too pricey at -200, but I’ll take the Hurricanes in regulation for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.

Canucks vs. Ducks (9:00)

Boring game out in the Pacific to end the night. The Canucks look awful, one of the worst teams in the league on both ends of the ice. The Ducks have looked good offensively, but their defense and goaltending is terrible. The first time these teams played about a week ago, the Ducks went into the third period with a 4-1 lead and blew at 5-2 lead with less than eight minutes left to lose 6-5 at home in overtime. Pathetic collapse. Anaheim’s way better than Vancouver and they should answer back with a win here on the road, but the -192 is just way too expensive with how they’ve played, and I don’t trust them to buy it down to regulation only. I’ll stay off the side. I love the over though since neither team can keep the puck out of their own net. I’ll take the over for a unit.
