Some crazy hockey last night, and I went 5-7 to lose 2.56 units. Not great, especially with the Habs crumbling. Let’s bounce back on tonight’s lousy four game NHL slate!

Sabres vs. Senators (7:30)
Fun game here in the Atlantic that should see a lot of action. My Sabres return home tonight on a three game win streak, sweeping their California trip. We played well in those games, while the Sens didn’t do too well on their extended West coast road trip. I’d lean Ottawa wins here on the road, but not enough to bet against my boys. I like the over though, which I’ll take for a unit.
Panthers vs. Blackhawks (7:30)
Horrible mismatch here. The Panthers are coming off a lousy loss at home against the Red Wings on Monday and I like them to bounce back here at home against an awful Chicago team. Florida won the first game between these teams 3-2 on the road a week and a half ago and I like them to win even easier tonight. I’ll take the Panthers in regulation for a unit. I’d lean the over, especially at 5.5, but not quite enough to bet it.
Kings vs. Sharks (10:00)
Boring California rivalry game. The Kings have pretty much been as terrible as I expected them to, but the Sharks are struggling too and have been a disappointment to start the season. I still think San Jose is the more talented team, but I can’t keep chasing wins on them. I’d slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet it, so I’ll lay off this game entirely.
Kraken vs. Flames (10:00)
This is unexpectedly a fun matchup tonight with both of these teams playing much better than I expected and this is already the fourth and final game of the year between these Pacific Division teams. The Kraken have gone 2-1 in those games with two dominant 6-1 blowouts on the road and then at home in the first week of the season, and Calgary answered back on Friday night with a 6-2 win at home. I like Seattle to win this one at home and I’ll take them to answer back for half a unit with the way better offense. I love the over, which I’ll take for a unit since both of these teams are terrible on the back end.
