It’s finally here! After one of the best regular seasons of all time, the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin tonight after the NHL moved the start up a couple days! Tonight we have two games in the East. Let’s the start the playoffs hot! Hurricanes vs. Islanders (5:00) As I broke down in my preview blog of this series, I don’t expect this to be a … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/20/24
In the Atlantic Division we have an awesome original six matchup for the first round with the #2 seed Bruins facing the #3 seed Maple Leafs. The Leafs haven’t beat the Bruins in the playoffs since 1959. Boston swept the season series between these teams this year, winning 3-2 in a shootout on November 2nd at home, 4-3 in overtime in Toronto on December 2nd, … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2024 – Round 1 Series Preview: Bruins vs. Maple Leafs
The playoffs begin on Saturday evening with the #2 seed in the Metro Division Carolina Hurricanes facing the #3 seed New York Islanders. I don’t think this is a great matchup. These teams met in the first round last season as well, with the Canes winning in six games last year. Although the Canes were the far better team between them this season, they split … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2024 – Round 1 Series Preview: Hurricanes vs. Islanders
We’ve finally arrived to the last day of the NHL regular season before the playoffs start on Saturday! Solid night for me last night, going 4-3 to win 1.38 units. Tonight we finish the season with six meaningless games besides determining the opponents of the two Pacific Division series. This wasn’t a good regular season for me gambling wise, actually the worst that I’ve ever … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/18/24
Last night Arizona said goodbye to their Coyotes. They did it in winning fashion with a 5-2 win at home over the Oilers, but really who cares about one “meaningless” game. For as much as I watch hockey every night, I haven’t watched a whole lot of Coyotes games this year, but I did watch last night’s in it’s entirely on the main TV. The … Continue reading My Reflection As Arizona Says Goodbye to the Coyotes
Slightly profitable night for me on the NHL yesterday, going 6-3 but just winning 0.39 units. I’ll take it. Tonight’s four game slate means nothing, all just throw away games with absolutely nothing to play for before the regular season ends tomorrow. Let’s see if I can find some value. Lightning vs. Maple Leafs (7:00) These Atlantic Division teams found out their playoff matchups for … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/17/24
I broke completely even last night, going 4-3 on that fun Monday night NHL slate. Tonight we have another eight game slate with a couple huge games to determine the final remaining playoff spot. Bruins vs. Senators (7:00) Pretty lousy matchup in the Eastern Conference tonight that is pretty much just for seeding for the Bruins. With a win tonight they lock up first place … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/16/24
Great Sunday for me on the NHL, going 3-0, sweeping the board to win 2 units. Tonight we have a decent eight game slate with a few key games in the Metro Division. Let’s win again! Lightning vs. Sabres (7:00) Completely meaningless game for this Atlantic Division matchup with the Sabres eliminated from playoff contention and the Lightning locked into their spot as the first … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/15/24
Little bit of a loss for me on the NHL yesterday, going 7-4, but losing my two bigger plays to finish the night down 0.38 units. Today we have a four game Sunday slate to head into the last week of the regular season. Let’s find some wins! Blues vs. Kraken (1:00) This Western Conference matchup isn’t great to get Sunday started and going up … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/14/24
Slight loss last night on the NHL, going 3-1, but losing .2 units. Annoying night with the Oilers not scoring, but not bad. Today’s the last loaded Saturday of the regular season, with 13 games on the slate. Let’s win everything! Rangers vs. Islanders (12:30) This could potentially be a first round meeting in the Metro Division for the Battle of New York. This is … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/13/24
