Last night the NHL Playoffs started off with four series. Got reverse swept going 0-6-1 to lose 9.52 units. Horrible start to the playoffs and I’ll recap each of those four games in tomorrow’s blog for all the Game 2s of that series. Tonight the other four series of the remaining teams begin. Let’s bounce back from yesterday’s losses and sweep tonight’s board! Game 1: … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/3/22

This will likely be a pretty boring series between the Pacific winning Calgary Flames and the #1 Wild Card Dallas Stars.  The Calgary Flames had a great season under head coach Daryl Suter, who has this team playing fantastic in every facet of the game. They won the (pretty weak) Pacific Division with a 50-21-11 record. Including their last two games of the season where … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Flames vs. Stars

This will likely be a pretty quick series with the top seed in the West, Colorado Avalanche being huge favorites over the #8 seed Nashville Predators. The Colorado Avalanche had a fantastic season, going 56-19-17 and locked up the first seed in the Western Conference quite a while ago. They went 32-5-4 at home this season and will have home ice locked up the entirety … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Avalanche vs. Predators

I don’t expect a whole lot out of this series between the President’s Trophy winning Florida Panthers against the Washington Capitals. The Panthers won their first President’s Trophy in franchise history with the best regular season record in the NHL, going 58-18-6. They were an impressive 34-7 on home ice, which they’ll have for the entirety of the playoffs. Florida easily has the best offense … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Panthers vs. Capitals

This isn’t the most fun series on paper in the Metropolitan Division between the Rangers and Penguins but we could get some good grinds of hockey games between these two teams.  The Rangers finished the regular season in second place in the Metro with a 52-24-6 record. Igor Shesterkin was easily the best goalie in the NHL this season and guaranteed Vezina winner with a … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Rangers vs. Penguins

After the long regular season it’s finally here, the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs!! Tonight four series start off with Game 1. I had a pretty successful NHL regular season and hope to crush the playoffs…starting tonight!! I already broke down each series in depth, which are all linked below. Check out each of them and read through them for my full expectations of each series … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/2/22

I don’t expect a whole lot out of this Pacific Division first round series between the #2 seed Edmonton Oilers and the #3 seed LA Kings. They’ve both played good hockey in the closing stretch of the season though, coming in the playoffs hot.  The Oilers finished the regular season in second place in the Pacific with a 49-27-6 record. They had lots of swings … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Oilers vs. Kings

To me this Central Division matchup between the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will easily be the most fun series in the first round of the playoffs this year. Although this series has been locked in for quite a while with Colorado having locked up first overall in the West quite a bit ago, these two teams played till the very last night of … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Wild vs. Blues

This could potentially be a very fun series to watch in the Atlantic Division between the #2 seed Toronto Maple Leafs and the #3 seed Tampa Bay Lightning. The Leafs come into the playoffs with a 54-21-7 record, winning their last three games going to finish the regular season to finish in second place in the Atlantic Division. They played really well in the closing … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Maple Leafs vs. Lightning

The first series to start of the 2022 NHL postseason, the Carolina Hurricanes vs. the Boston Bruins which could be a fun series out of the Eastern Conference. Both of these teams were eliminated in the second round of last year’s playoffs. The Hurricanes beat the Predators in six games in the first round and then lost to the eventual Cup Champion Lightning in five … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Hurricanes vs. Bruins
