Jameis Winston Caps Off His 30 and 30 Season In Perfect Fashion

One of the biggest shockers of the NFL season this year has been how Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Bucs have been playing recently and Jameis’s stat lines every game.

Going into today’s meaningless game against the Atlanta Falcons, Jameis Winston had 31 touchdowns and 28 interceptions on the season. A quarterback has thrown 30 interceptions in a season 12 times in NFL history, but none of those QB’s have ever also had 30 TD’s in that season. In a pretty decent, yet shitty game, he got two touchdowns and an interception going into overtime, tied 22-22. Then that’s when magic happened. On the first play of overtime, Jameis does none other than throw a walk off pick 6 to Deion Jones for the Falcons to win 28-22 and cap off the first 30 TD and 30 INT season for a quarterback ever.

How hilarious to watch, just when we thought it wouldn’t happen, Jameis does it. How perfect. Jameis one of one. Nothing like it.

The pick 6 also hit the over for anyone that gambled on that game to make it even more perfect.

Jameis ends the season with 5109 yards, 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. It’ll be interesting to see if the Bucs re-sign him in the offseason or he finds a new home elsewhere in the NFL next year.
