Sabres vs. Flyers (7:30)

Such a boring matchup here in the East tonight. My Sabres haven’t played great, but this is a great spot for them with the Flyers in the second half of a back to back on the road after ending their nine game losing streak to start the season with wins at home against the Senators and Avalanche. I’d expect Buffalo to win tonight, but the price at -205 on them is insane. I considered betting my boys in regulation, but seeing that our last three games went to OT, I’ll lay off it. I’d lean the over slightly, but not enough to bet that either, so I’ll lay off this game entirely. Let’s Go Sabres!

Senators vs. Panthers (7:30)

The boo birds are definitely going to be singing in Ottawa tonight as former captain Brady Tkachuk returns for the first time with his brother and the rest of his Florida Panthers after he requested a trade out of Ottawa. Both of these teams have played solid hockey to start the year, but I like the Panthers to win here in a heated game on the road. I’ll take Florida for half a unit. I’d lean the under slightly, but not enough to bet it at 5.5. I’m also going to take a player prop here on Brady to get a point against his former team for a unit. I considered parlaying him with Matthew and considered taking him to score, but the best play is just the individual point prop.
