To me this Central Division matchup between the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will easily be the most fun series in the first round of the playoffs this year. Although this series has been locked in for quite a while with Colorado having locked up first overall in the West quite a bit ago, these two teams played till the very last night of … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Wild vs. Blues

This could potentially be a very fun series to watch in the Atlantic Division between the #2 seed Toronto Maple Leafs and the #3 seed Tampa Bay Lightning. The Leafs come into the playoffs with a 54-21-7 record, winning their last three games going to finish the regular season to finish in second place in the Atlantic Division. They played really well in the closing … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Maple Leafs vs. Lightning

The first series to start of the 2022 NHL postseason, the Carolina Hurricanes vs. the Boston Bruins which could be a fun series out of the Eastern Conference. Both of these teams were eliminated in the second round of last year’s playoffs. The Hurricanes beat the Predators in six games in the first round and then lost to the eventual Cup Champion Lightning in five … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Hurricanes vs. Bruins

Today we have the final meaningless game of the NHL regular season, a makeup game between the Jets and Kraken for a snowstorm in Winnipeg. Can’t wait till tomorrow night when the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin! Jets vs. Kraken (2:00) Both of these teams are out of the playoffs which makes it disappointing seasons for both of them. The Kraken didn’t get the inaugural season … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/1/22

We’re finally at the end of the regular season (not including a makeup game tomorrow) with every team in the NHL in action tonight for a 15 game slate. Most of these games today are completely meaningless with most playoff matchups for the first round already decided and the President’s Trophy already rewarded to the Florida Panthers. I should’ve probably taken this week off of … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/29/22

I went 0-3 last night all in one goal losses, losing 3.78 units. Tonight we have a nine game NHL slate but most of tonight’s games are completely meaningless with every playoff spot clinched and only a few teams playing for seeding. Bruins vs. Sabres (7:00) The Bruins are one of the few teams that are actually playing for something tonight to determine their seeding … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/28/22

My NHL picks on yesterday’s big slate got crushed, going 5-12-1 to lose 8.35 units. Not great. Tonight we have just a five game slate before two fully loaded days to close out the regular season. Jets vs. Flyers (7:30) Both of these teams seasons didn’t go well. The Jets ended their four game losing streak pulling off a 4-1 upset against the Avalanche on … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/27/22

I skipped yesterday’s only game off for a nice day off and tonight we have a huge 13 game slate to dive into to start off a fully loaded final week of the NHL regular season heading into the playoffs. Let’s win!! Bruins vs. Panthers (7:00) Florida is the best team in the NHL with a 57-16-6 record and they have a four point lead … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/26/22

Yesterday started off pretty lousy for me, with a bit of a comeback in the evening before Vegas let me down to close out the night, blowing a two goal lead with 2:06 left in the game including the tying goal with just a second remaining. I ended up going 5-7-1 to lose 5.88 units. Tonight we only have one horrible game between two of … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/25/22

Pretty solid day for me yesterday, going 10-5 to win 3.09 units. That gets me over 40 units of winnings on the NHL season, for the second time this year after blowing +40 units a few months ago. Huge comeback. Today we have another huge eleven game slate for the final big Sunday slate of the season. Let’s build on yesterday’s big wins with some … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/24/22
