This 17% blended imperial stout aged between 18 and 26 months in bourbon barrels and then was transferred to rum barrels and conditioned on toasted coconut. Tonight I’m having this year’s Starry Noche from Weldwerks. This 12.6% imperial stout was aged in 7-year Weller Bourbon, 10-year Buffalo Trace Bourbon, 9-year Stagg Jr. Bourbon, 8-year Willett Bourbon and 15-year Old Fitzgerald Bourbon barrels, then finished on toasted coconut flakes, unsweetened raw coconut chips, and toasted hazelnuts.
