The first round in the Pacific Division shook out exactly how the hockey world wanted and now we get the heated Battle of Alberta in the playoffs for the first time since 1991 between the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers. I can’t wait to watch this series. Both were pretty underwhelming to me in their first round series but I think that changes in … Continue reading NHL Playoffs Series Preview: Flames vs. Oilers

Both of these Metro Division teams got out of the first round with Game 7 wins and did it quite differently to set up the Carolina Hurricanes vs. the New York Rangers to go to the Eastern Conference Finals against the winner of the Battle of Florida. These teams battled it out for first place in the Metro Division till the last week of the … Continue reading NHL Playoffs Series Preview: Hurricanes vs. Rangers

I closed out the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sunday with a 6.06 unit win on the two overtime Game 7s, going 2-1 for a 2.56 unit win on my individual game bets and winning 3.5 units on the Rangers winning their series. The Colorado Avalanche are the best team in the NHL Playoffs this season and the favorites to lift the Stanley Cup, rightfully so. I do think the Blues could give them a fun run in this series though. The Colorado Avalanche had a fantastic regular season, going 56-19-17 and locked up the first seed in the Western Conference. They went 32-5-4 at home this season … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2022 Series Preview: Avalanche vs. Blues

We once again got the Battle of Florida in the playoffs again this season to determine the winner of the Atlantic Division. I can’t wait to watch these teams battle it out again this season. Really solid night yesterday, going an undefeated 6-0 on my game bets for a 9 unit win and splitting my series bets with Florida winning in overtime and the Flames losing to go 1-1 and lose 2.22 units on those. Huge winning night. Today we have three Game 7s, the best two words in sports. Anything can happen in Game 7s. Let’s keep the wins rolling!! … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/14/22

Pretty much broke even yesterday, losing 0.07 units. My individual game bets went 4-1-2 to win 2.33 units which offset my 2.4 unit loss on the Wild/Blues series to go to seven games and my future on the Wild to win the Cup (Blues future survives too another round!). Still have my series bets on the Lightning and Bruins both alive to Game 7! Tonight … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/13/22

All three series bets that were at risk survived to Game 6 with the chance to win two of those tomorrow. Let’s crush this slate.  Game 6: Bruins vs. Hurricanes (7:00) After they evened up the series with two home wins, the Bruins got blown … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/12/22
