While it felt like forever for the North Division to finish their regular season, we finally kick of the playoffs in Canada with the #2 seed Edmonton Oilers facing off against the #3 seed Winnipeg Jets.  The Edmonton Oilers have been one of the best teams in Canada this season, led by the best player in the NHL, Connor McDavid. McJesus ended the regular season … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Oilers vs. Jets

Great night yesterday going 3-0 for +5 units. The Bruins won a 4-3 overtime thriller as Brad Marchand scored 39 seconds into OT. Carolina got a big 5-2 win over Nashville. And the Avs were a fucking powerhouse getting 50 shots on goal and despite Jordan Binnington being amazing in goal, Colorado got a nice 4-1 win. Three more Game 2’s tonight and an additional … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/18/21

We’re officially in the playoffs with four series already off to awesome starts and two more series starting today along with Game 2 of Caps/Bruins! Game 2: Capitals vs. Bruins (7:30) Game 1 was a disappointment for me as the Bruins lost to the Caps 3-2 in overtime. After Capitals goalie Vitek Vanecek got hurt as the Bruins scored their first goal of the game, … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/17/21

With wins in their final three games of the regular season, the Colorado Avalanche finished the season winning the President’s Trophy as the top overall seed in the NHL. Home ice throughout the playoffs will run through Denver for as long as the Avs are in it. The St. Louis Blues limped into the playoffs after a somewhat disappointing season only two seasons removed from … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Avalanche vs. Blues

Earlier in the season the Nashville Predators looked dead with no chance at making the playoffs. I expected them to fire their head coach and be in the basement of the NHL. Halfway through March though, the Preds turned it around and caught fire going 13-3 from March 15th to April 13th and ended the season in the fourth seed in the Central Division. They … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Hurricanes vs. Predators

The Battle of Florida kicks off the Central Division playoffs as the #2 seed Florida Panthers face off against their in state rival #3 seed Tampa Bay Lightning for Game 1 tonight. The defending Stanley Cup Champion Bolts had a decent season going 36-17-3 without two of their star players Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos. Per head coach Jon Cooper, Kuch and Stammer are back … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Panthers vs. Lightning

Last night the 2021 NHL Playoffs began in the East as the Caps beat the Bruins 3-2 in overtime. Today another three series start off as well as another meaningless North Division game. Game 1: Penguins vs. Islanders (12:00) I think the Penguins win this series as I wrote up in my preview of the series. In addition to the futures I added on Pittsburgh, … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/16/21

Vegas was my top pick going into this season to win the Stanley Cup. They were in the driver’s seat the full season up until the last couple games of the year to win the President’s Trophy as the top seed in all of hockey. Colorado ended up catching up with them to take first place so the Knights are seeded #2 in the West, … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Golden Knights vs. Wild

Last night the 2021 NHL Playoffs began with the other series in the East as the Caps beat the Bruins 3-2 in overtime. Today at noon, the other East Division series starts off in Pittsburgh as the #1 seed Penguins take on the New York Islanders. The Penguins crushed the Islanders in the regular season, winning six of the eight games that these teams have … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2021 Series Preview: Penguins vs. Islanders

Although the regular season hasn’t ended for the North and there’s a game there today, what really matters is the playoffs start tonight! Breaking it all down! Note: I’ll go in depth on my new Penguins bets with a full series preview like I did on the Caps/Bruins series.  Oilers vs. Canucks (3:30) The Oilers finish off their regular season today against Vancouver before they … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/15/21
