Second winning night in a row on the NHL Playoffs yesterday, as I went 9-5 to win 0.9 units. Let’s keep rolling with another four Game 2’s tonight in the first round! Game 2: Lightning vs. Canadiens (7:00) The first game of this series on Sunday night was fantastic, with both teams trading goals, with plenty of hits and six goals coming on the power … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/21/26
This Pacific Division matchup should be fun between the 2 seed Edmonton Oilers, the back to back defending Western Conference Champions, and the Anaheim Ducks, who finished just a point behind them in a fun year. During the regular season, the Oilers went 2-1 against the Ducks, all in high scoring games. The first game was a 7-4 blowout win at home for Edmonton on January … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Oilers vs. Ducks
I didn’t do too bad on the first two day of the NHL Playoffs, going 10-16 over the weekend to lose 2.78 units, bouncing back from a bad Saturday with a really solid Sunday. Let’s win on tonight’s games with series continuing! Game 2: Penguins vs. Flyers (7:00) As I said in my blog breaking down this series, I don’t see a way the Flyers … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 4/20/26
This should be a pretty fun series in the West as the Pacific Division Champion Vegas Golden Knights face the first wild card Utah Mammoth. Both of these teams had their ups and downs this year but have played pretty good hockey, setting up a competitive first round matchup. The Mammoth went 2-1 during the regular season matchups between these teams this year. The Golden … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Golden Knights vs. Mammoth
Tonight the Sabres start their first playoff run in 15 games, and I couldn’t be more excited. For years and years, this franchise has been miserable, losing year in and year out with our star players leaving and winning elsewhere. It’s been awful for this drought, but this team made magic this season, coming out of no where after the typical bad start, and not … Continue reading Sabres Playoffs vs. Bruins – Game 1: 4/19/26 – Game Reactions/Recap
I couldn’t be more excited as my Buffalo Sabres head into the playoffs as Atlantic Division Champions with a solid series against the Boston Bruins in the first round. Should be a competitive series and I can’t wait to be there tonight for Game 1. Both of these teams went into the year expected to be bottom five teams, fighting for lottery picks and not … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Sabres vs. Bruins
When I was a little kid late in elementary school and during middle school, those were my first real memories of watching the Buffalo Sabres. In 2005, coming out of the lockout, we were projected to be the worst team in the NHL that season and very similar to this year’s team, they came up with a whole team of young future stars and made … Continue reading Tonight’s the Night the World Begins Again! The Sabres Start the Playoffs Tonight for the First Time in 15 Years!
I’m expecting this to be a fantastic first round series in the Atlantic Division between the 2 seed Tampa Bay Lightning and the 3 seed Montreal Canadiens, who finished the season tied with 106 points and were both electric to watch this year. These teams split their season series in the regular season this year. The Lightning dominated the first game on the road on … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Lightning vs. Canadiens
I think this is the biggest mismatch of a series in the first round as the President’s Trophy winning Colorado Avalanche face the second Wild Card in the West, the LA Kings. I’m expecting this to be a pretty quick series. The Avalanche swept the regular season series between these teams, winning by multiple goals every game they played. On opening night of the season … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Avalanche vs. Kings
I wouldn’t say this is all that great of a series between the 7th and 8th best teams in the East but this Metro Division rivalry for the Battle of Pennsylvania is always fun as the #2 seed Pittsburgh Penguins face the #3 seed Philadelphia Flyers in the first round. During the regular season, these teams split their four games, with both Penguins wins being … Continue reading NHL Playoffs 2026 – Round 1 Series Preview: Penguins vs. Flyers
